EMPLOYEE STATUS: Full Time Hourly
Position Summary:
A Senior Systems Support Specialist performs a wide variety of configuration, installation, upgrading, and troubleshooting of end-user hardware, software, and networking equipment in a LAN, WAN, and stand-alone environment. The Senior Systems Support Specialist provides support for end users in the office environment and Fox Theatre, as well as at MetroTix client venues. This person is also responsible for coordinating projects and serving as an escalation point for the Systems Support Specialists.
Qualifications
Qualifications include:
• Experience supervising a team
• Intermediate knowledge of networking, VLANs, and VPNs
• Experience resolving computer hardware, software, and connectivity issues required
• Administration and support of Windows 10 workstations in a domain environment
• Excellent communication and customer service skills, troubleshooting techniques, ability to work on several congruent projects, and ability to supervise a small group
Experience with the following is preferred:
• Group Policy
• DNS
• Microsoft Exchange On-Premises
• VMware
• Point of sales systems
• VoIP solutions
• SAP Crystal Reports
• Veeam Backup and Replication
Position Type/Expected Hours of Work
The job requires on-call duties including some evenings and weekends, along with making deliveries and service calls using the company vehicle. The incumbent will work directly with the Network Administrator providing a great learning opportunity to further increase networking knowledge and administration abilities.
Salary: Commensurate with experience.
