Event Staff
Salary Range:
$12 - $15 /hour
Description:
The Fabulous Fox Theatre is currently accepting applications for part time Event Staff to assist in special events.
Responsibilities include:
- Assist with the following for events
- Set up, including but not limited to arranging décor, chairs, tables, linens, and buffets
- Tear down, including but not limited to clearing tables throughout the event to ensure the venue is always show ready
- Serving food and beverages to Guests, buffet replenishment
- Effectively communicate with Guests and clients throughout event
- Others duties as assigned by management
Qualifications
Skills and Requirements:
Work Authorization: United States (required)
Customer Service, 3 years (required)
- Work well under pressure
- Team Player
- Previous serving or events experience is a plus
- Must have a friendly disposition and a smile
- Flexible schedule, including nights and weekends
- Must be able to stay calm in stressful, fast-paced situations
- Demonstrate strong customer service skills
Physical Requirements
- Ability to navigate a variety of floor surfaces and areas including stairs, escalators, carpet
- Ability to work in a variety of environments including but not limited to heights, elevators, around crowds, loud noise, flashing lights, and haze effects
- Ability to lift and carry up to 10 pounds
- Frequent walking, including stairs
- Able to work while standing for 4 to 8 hours, with accommodation if necessary
- Pre-employment drug screening required
