Fox Club Shift Supervisor

REPORTS TO: Fox Club Manager
EMPLOYEE STATUS: Full Time/ Part Time
Summary:
Oversee other employees and assist with their responsibilities to help ensure a positive experience for our guests. The shift leader ensures that the shift operates in an efficient manner and attends to any unexpected problems or emergencies that may arise. The shift supervisor helps with the responsibility of all facets of the operations and leadership of the staff. If you have excellent team management skills and experience in the restaurant industry, we’d like to meet you. Ultimately, you will help us create a memorable dining experience for our guests.
Primary Responsibilities:
• Supervising daily operations, employee responsibilities and customer interactions
• Assisting bartenders
• Ensuring guest satisfaction and gracefully handling any complaints
• Communication between front of house and back of house staff
• Balancing the cash register at the end of the shift
• Coordinate and make sure closing duties are finished
• Position requires the ability to be standing for long periods of time, navigate stairs and the ability to lift up to 50 pounds
• Must be able to work nights, weekends and occasionally holidays
• Carries out responsibilities in accordance with organization’s’ policies and applicable law
Education and Experience Required:
• A minimum of 2 years of high-volume fine dining or country club in a supervisory role
• Bartending experience
• Ability to carry a serving tray
• Comfortable in a fast-paced environment, with willingness to jump in and help in all front of house roles as needed
• Experience with using POS systems – Silverware POS experience a plus but not required.
