Position Summary: The Marketing Assistant’s primary responsibility is to provide support for all members of the Fox marketing team, in areas including but not limited to promotion and trade fulfillment, social media, project management, and record keeping.

Primary Responsibilities of the Marketing Assistant include:

•  Manages and maintains marketing calendars.
•  Aggregates and tracks marketing initiatives and results, deadlines, and departmental communications, providing regular results updates and analysis. 
•  Assists with the coordination and scheduling of departmental meetings. 
•  Works with Creative Manager and Marketing Coordinator for execution and coverage of social media responsibilities, including but not limited to content scheduling, guest engagement, and result analysis.
•  Aggregates show and season information for marketing and groups initiatives.
•  Assists with retail partnerships by fostering relationships and preparing promotion materials.
•  Coordinates and supports Fox participation in local events and festivals.
•  Provides assistance to the Publicity Manager and Marketing Coordinator during interviews and press events as needed. Additionally, lends support during Broadway opening night press table activities as needed.
•  Works with Food & Beverage and Marketing teams for cross-departmental projects.
•  Assists Marketing Managers as needed with advertising settlements, including collection of tear sheets and invoices.
•  Retrieves promotional, press, and trade tickets for the department using the MetroTix system. 
•  Facilitates radio trades with outlying radio stations, cultivating relationships with sales representatives. Manages trade advertising placement, provides follow-up copy, and coordinates ticket distribution.
•  Manages and organizes files for Fox publicity.
•  Provides support for merchandise management and distribution.
•  Assists with the coordination and execution of marketing events, including season announcement and annual marketing party. 
•  Maintains external community calendars and submits Fox events for consideration.
•  Tracks and maintains inventory of marketing supplies.
•  Other duties as assigned within the department or Fox.

Qualifications

Applicants must have these qualifications and skills:

•  The ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a team environment.
•  Excellent organizational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritize and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
•  Strong written and verbal communication skills.
•  The ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment while meeting deadlines and adapting to changing priorities.
•  Proficiency in Microsoft Office, including Outlook, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
•  Familiarity with major social media platforms. Experience creating or assisting with social media content is a preferred.
•  Flexibility to occasionally work early mornings, evenings, weekends, and other nontraditional hours as required to support events and organizational needs.

Education and Experience Required:
•  A bachelor’s degree or working toward one preferably in marketing, communications or related course study OR work experience in advertising or media environment.
•  References from past work experience.
