Position Summary:
The Marketing Assistant’s primary responsibilities are to help coordinate marketing department operations and to provide support for all members of the Fox marketing team in the areas of promotion and trade fulfillment, social media, project management, and record keeping.
Primary Responsibilities of the Marketing Assistant include:
• Manages and maintains marketing calendars and department operations systems.
• Aggregates and tracks marketing initiatives and results, deadlines, and departmental communications.
• Facilitates radio trades with outlying radio stations, cultivating relationships with sales representatives. Manages trade advertising placement, provides follow-up copy, and coordinates ticket distribution.
• Cultivates print trades with various publications, establishes relationships with sales representatives. Manages trade advertising placements, provides follow-up copies, and coordinates ticket distribution.
• Establishes retail partnerships by fostering relationships and preparing materials for register-to-win promotions, such as flyers, posters, entry boxes, and tickets, for distribution.
• Coordinates and supports Fox participation in local events and festivals, ensuring seamless integration into community activities.
• Provides assistance to the Publicity Manager and Digital Marketing Coordinator during interviews and with camera crews both at the theatre and off-site as required. Additionally, lends support during Broadway opening night press table activities as needed.
• Liaison between the Food & Beverage team and Marketing team to ensure menu requests are approved by show management.
• Assists Marketing Managers by accumulating and organizing print tear sheets for show advertising settlements.
• Supports Marketing Managers with promotions.
• Retrieves promotional, press, and trade tickets for the department using the MetroTix system. Ensures accuracy by providing a reconciliation sheet to the box office before settlement of each show.
• Manages and organizes files for Fox publicity.
• Assists with the coordination and execution of events, including season announcement and annual marketing party.
• Tracks and maintains inventory of marketing supplies.
• Leads internal projects in collaboration with community partners.
• Other duties as assigned or re-assigned within the department or Fox.

• Microsoft Office proficiency.
• Must have the ability to work early mornings, evenings, and weekends as needed.
• Ability to be proactive and take initiative on assigned projects.
Education and Experience Required:
• A bachelor’s degree or working toward one preferably in marketing, communications or related course study OR work experience in advertising or media environment.
• References from past work experience.
